Cookies and Similar Technologies

Vimessa's Appearance Preference
The current theme uses the local-storage key vimessa-theme to remember a value of light or dark. Its purpose is to restore your display choice on later visits in the same browser. It is not a tracking identifier and does not contain your name or email address.
The theme does not assign this preference a fixed expiry date. It remains until changed, cleared by you, or removed by the browser. You can change the appearance using the theme button. Clearing this site's local storage removes the saved preference; selecting a theme again stores a new value. If browser storage is unavailable, the theme can still switch appearance for the current page without remembering it for later.
Google Blogger Platform Technologies
Vimessa is hosted on Blogger. Google may use cookies and related technologies in providing platform functions, security, statistics, account-related features, and other services. Their use can vary with your region, settings, account status, and how you interact with the website.

Examples in a provider's documentation do not establish that every listed cookie is set on every visit to Vimessa. Cookie names and lifetimes can change, so your browser's site-data controls and the provider's current documentation are the best places to inspect what is actually present.
External Resources and Embedded Content
The current theme loads fonts from Google Fonts. Requesting an external resource shares technical request information with its provider; this alone should not be described as proof that the resource sets a cookie.
Embedded videos or other third-party features, when included in a page, may introduce their own storage or identifiers. Their behaviour depends on the feature, provider, and settings. Following an ordinary external link takes you to a different website, where that site's own policies apply.
Optional Analytics or Advertising
This policy does not mean that a separate analytics or advertising integration is currently enabled simply because such services are discussed in Blogger's documentation. If optional features are added, their purposes, providers, and relevant controls should be reflected in the website's notices and policies.
Where applicable law requires consent before optional technologies are used, an appropriate consent mechanism is needed. This policy is an explanation, not a consent control, and does not treat continued browsing as permission for every optional purpose.
Managing Browser Storage
Your browser settings generally let you inspect, block, or delete cookies and website data, including local storage. The exact controls differ between browsers.
